With the production of the the TEDx Toronto teaser, which was launched today we wanted to present
“The universal nature of the TED conference with a Toronto aesthetic”
As is clear with the final product, we took this motif quite literally. The infinity of space intercepted by our favorite TED talks, ideas about the human condition spiral in to form our pale blue… err… red dot. Unsatisfied with stock Toronto time-lapses, The Biz Media crew camped out for 5 hours at Poison St. on the east side of the Toronto Harbor to capture the sunset.

We used the Cannon 7D to capture a series of 460 photos from a Cannon 7D, snapping one photo every 30 seconds from 7pm to 11pm, we were able to try our new Intervolomintor. When we first started shooting, our shutter speed was set at 1/2000 of a second, by the end we were shooting at 13 seconds a frame. We actually can’t wait to try this again, this time from the Toronto island with a complete 24 hour cycle.
The Biz Media will continue to produce all future video content including a multi camera live stream of TEDxToronto, bringing the world to the ideas of our fair city.
Unmarketing, AKA Scott Stratten, served up a stellar keynote without notes, a mic or even notes to an enthusiastic crowed on the roof of the Merchandise Building in Toronto. Scott’s blunt and in-your-face approach to social media was appreciated by most everyone, even the most jaded in social media/ communications professionals present.
Scott manages to explain in a colourful and entertaining manner that perhaps social media isn’t for some people… and some people are idiots.
The Biz Media thanks all who were able to make it out to our first #TheBizMedia Sessio; you are all wicked awesome.

I’ve said before that video testimonials of happy customers are the most powerful sales tool you can put up on your website, however I think there is one exception – a video testimonial from an industry leader. I mean, if the top names in your industry are willing to go on camera to praise your business – it just doesn’t get any better and more authentic than that. Here are 3 video testimonials we filmed at The Art of Management conference at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. If you are good enough to get this type of praise – from these type of people – film it. The Art of Management doesn’t need to be sold anymore. Here is proof:

Thanks for stopping by. If you’re an avid blogger you may be wondering what
this blog has to offer – or in other words what you can learn from us. Well,
I don’t really know. We once tried blogging about effective business
strategies with a focus on young entrepreneurs but we folded that idea
pretty quickly. What we learned from that experience though was that
blogging was easily searchable and by blogging, random people found their
way into our website.
That’s why were blogging again!

We like random people here! We’re a business! And we’re proud to do
business!
So if you randomly popped in, once again WELCOME! We are happy to have you
drop in because we feel strongly about what we do and being able to work
with new people is one of the reasons we got into business in the first
place. So here is the declaration! THIS is what our new blog will be about:
WELCOME to The Biz Media’s blog about THE BIZ MEDIA! For all you people who
have no idea who we are, this is where we will post the video’s we have
made, client testimonials about us, fun things we are up to, and sometimes
just things that we have found online that we love and feel you will love
too. You found your way to us and right here is where you can learn a whole
ton about who we are, what we like and what we do.
Please feel free to leave a comment – we would love to hear from you!
Cheers,
Dan Demsky
